About "BiG CitY PeOpLE"
日本の東京で出会った3人のデザイナーは、それぞれ Tokyo、Los Angeles、Manitoba Winnipeg,、Beijing、Tianjin、Hong Kong、Seoul、Melbourneなど数多くの都市で暮らし、感じてきた大都市の人々の様々な感情たちを「BiG CitY PeOpLE」に吸収させデイリーに着ることができるように力を注いだ。
ストリートモダンをテーマに、現代人が愛する古典映画、現在の音楽とともに、80年代のアジア文化といったカテゴリーをミックスして現代風にアップデートしたブランド 「BiG CitY PeOpLE」、「B.C.P」。
いつも幸福を渇望することに疲れた、人々の心に共感してあげることから始まり、あんなにきらびやかな灰色の都市でしか感じられないその空しさ、寂しさやその憂鬱さを愛せざるを得なくなった私たち大都市の人々の感情を、退屈に表現する。
EP. 01
世の中は毎日激変する。 グラフは揺れ動いて，人々の関心事や，流行などの文化が次々に変わりつつあるのが，もはや特別ではなくなった世の中である。しかし、この中でも少なからぬ人々は、本当に自分自身が胸の奥で愛する書籍や映画、美術、またはどんな場面も存在し、それらを心の奥で一生大切にしている。 これらは変わらない。 その理由はそれを目と耳と胸で感じた"当時の私の感情"というのを本当に愛しているからなのだ。 嬉しかった時だったであっても、悲しかった時であっても。
過ぎ去る風のような流行も良いが、私たちは自分自身が本当に愛するものをもっと深く愛そうとする変わらない心、そしてそれを深く渇望する心、、それにだけ集中する。
私たちは、人間の感情というものを普段着に投影しようと努力する。これに合う服のフィットと素材、色を被せた。 今まで今までうまく表現できなかった「自らの感情を愛する方法」に 一歩近づくために。
The world is changing drastically everyday. Things and the view of the city we used to know are changing 10 times faster than we thought . The people interests , hobbies, cultures and fashion are changing unbelievably quick .Sometime we are trying to adopt ourselves to the world way too much.
We forgot everyone is “unique” living in the world as a human being.
However, There must be some kinda books, movies ,art pieces , people or memories in deep deep inside our heart . These little things are unforgettable and unreplaceable. And these things will never be change in the rest of our life. “The emotion during the moment”. The sense of the feeling with our eyes , nose , ears and skins . Whether it was during a happy or sad period. I love and enjoy every single part of it .
Trends in these day is coming and go really quickly. We are only focusing on the thing we truly love deep inside our heart. And project our emotions into our daily wear .
We are trying to use color , material , shapes, design and details put into our clothing to represent to all the big city people “the way to love and express our own emotional“ .
